Communication is done through Edline.com and they use mylunchmoney.com for lunch payment so there is no scrambling for lunch tickets or money in the morning. Even tuition is paid online. Religion is taken very seriously at Assumption and the Sisters are a joyful influence on our children. I have found her to be nothing short of professional and to have the schools best interest at heart. All of the teachers that my children have had thus far have kept me informed of my childrens progress and given me guidance when needed for my son who struggles with school. With the current state of the economy it is a struggle to continue to keep my children in private school, however, Assumption is worth it. Read less

Assumption was a wonderful school and church community. My children attended from preschool and it really hurt to withdraw them recently. The teachers are wonderful and really care. Unfortunately the Pastor is more concerned about profit margins(not supplementing the school budget) and material needs

ACS improved its standardized testing scores and is now one of the highest rated schools in the diocese. However, without notice or cause the Pastor terminated the principal in January 2008 jeopardizing these advances. If I were coming to this school, fresh, I would inquire as to the leadership experience of the new adminstration and potential conflicts of interest since the principal now supervises her teacher husband. I would look to San Jose Catholic and St. Pauls instead! Read less

This school has a lot to offer. They will have a brand new gym/family center open this summer. They have sports for all ages and abilities, they work with working parents to provide before/after school care and they even have a wonderful summer camp. But that is just the 'extra' stuff. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
