It's a very school. The teacher knew what they were doing. The lectures and homework assignments helped me in critical subjects which I need for my future.

I used to be a student at DuPont and it was a great school until we got a new principal. We had to get walked to our classes. Boys and girls couldn't even sit together at lunch! i did not like this and they had bus waves and i couldnt get out on first wave and had to wait a while till i could get out

There's good things and bad things about this school. It's a good school, but there are things about it that I don't like. The good things are that they have great activities. duPont middle school is a great school. The rules are a bit strict, but they keep everyone in order and usually on task. Also, the teachers are amazing, I couldn't ask for better teachers.

No control over unruly students. Principal very narrow minded not innovative. Teaching staff very rule orientated, no room for thinking out of box, students stunted and seem to act out over discipline and not be reprimanded but staff is reprimanded for students behavior. Poor school.

The new system of escorting students between classes prevents arguing and fighting within student body. The elimination of honors and advanced classes is not working as the teachers can't teach them properly. They are forced to 'teach down the middle' while some students are not learning and others are ...  Read more

A new principal at a school with so many problems is incomprehensible. DuPont needs a strong leader who is willing to raise the level of expectation. Assignments are overly simplistic. Behavior problems and distractions in class keep the few who really want to learn from being successful.

My second daughter is now in the 8th grade at DuPont and has been there since the 6th grade. She has also done very well and we have ...  Read more
