One of the biggest problems I see at Tallavana is the Principal. She claims to not want to control everything but yet has to micromanage every detail. She gives very little support to the teachers. I have children that attend Tallavana and have seen a decline over the past 2 years. I held out hope

It's been a few month since I've chimed in. I am an auntee of a child at Tallavana, again I can say that I've seen a dead seed become a blossoming flower. My nephew had a choice to go to another school, he let me and his mother know that Tallavana is the place for him. He is totally confident in himself,

Mr. Towsend has encouraged my nephew to be what he chooses to be and not be what someone choose for him. I praise God for the concept that Tallavana has. Again if you have kids that learn easily great, but mine nephew didn't. He received a few certificates for improvement for the 2007 year. Horay for Tallavana!!!!!! Read less

I graduated from Tallavana when it was formerly Gadsden Christian Academy. Through the years there have been many hardships and problems, but each time the school has problems - the Lord keeps it going. This school is God's school and without HIM it would have been gone years ago. This school has

I went to Tallavana for 13yrs. The school has had many ups and downs. I was there when it almost closed to when the school changed it name. I think the biggest issue that I seen when i attend Tallavana is that the church tried to control the school to much. That has always been the issue out there. I

I would have to agree with the comment about the booster club being a little pushy. To me it seems like they are trying to spread their influence to more areas than sports. Other than that I think that the school is heading in the right direction.
