I formerly attended this school and graduated before the new school was open (2005) If you can, send you child to the other school. This school is dirty, most teachers are poor (unless your child is in the honors or AP classes) and it is almost a dictatorship with rules. The school is greatly overburdened ...  Read more

I have had 2 students at Haines City High School both have been very positive. I think that if you have students that gets in trouble at school they will get in trouble at any school. If you have good students your student should have no problem at HCHS. HCHS has several good programs for the students ...  Read more

Parents can stay on top of what their child/children ...  Read more

This school does not want parent participation, it wants to keep doing the terrible job it's doing without our imput. Paint, new cafateria, and landscaping is not going to help solve the problems in this school. A strong and well established Principal, and staff is going to be it's only chance. Current ...  Read more

This is one of the worst high schools that I have ever seen as far as safety and child welfare go. While getting out of my car to enroll my child in school there (I was unaware of the reputation at the time) There are fights amongst the children almost daily here and overall it is a horrible environment. ...  Read more

We witnessed a great evolution of the High School environment and overall performance throughouth 2002-2003, in academics and sports. Both my children already passed the FCAT and the ACT. The new cafeteria and landscaping (still under construction as of July 2003) will allow students to better socialize.
