I've had my daugher (7) and my son (4) in SunGrove Montessori, since the time they were 2.5 and 6 months old respectively. There are so many great things about SGMS: The methodology (one on one teaching, according to Montessori methods),; wonderful teachers who treat the children almost as if they

However, the most amazing thing, is the environment, in which children work on their own, without making noise, while the teacher gives lessons to the other children, on a one on one basis. In SGMS, truly, no child is left behind. The one on one methodology assures that every child fulfills at a minimum, the standard curriculum, which means that by end of First Grade, every child will be 1) reading proficiently, 2) writing in cursive, and 3) doing complex additions. Highly recommend it. Read less

My son attends Sungrove and he BEGS to go to school on the weekends! He enjoys learning and that's the most important thing to us....education. I say that, because the school goes up to Middle school 'grades', we were amazed by the work that was being generated by the older students, and how peaceful it feels to be there. The alternatives in our area did not have the option of continuing Montessori past the ages of 6 or 7 and we wanted to continue persuing a Montessori approach. We love Sungrove WORTH EVERY PENNY-AGREED! Read less
