Lighthouse Is truly a place where your children can shine. The teachers are passionate about teaching, they are caring and knowledgeable. I have 2 children attending Lighthouse and they are excited to go to school everyday.

I am disappointed that once again the middle school is changing teachers. I want security and every year there are new teachers.Last year the teachers helped half of the students reach honor roll status,with teachers this good why can't they keep them! Both of my children attend Lighthouse Christian Academy High School and have truly excelled this past year. The honors classes have been challenging, yet both are eager to learn and achieve. The teachers and administration truly care about the students. This year LCA started a benevolence fund for families

i am a graduate of light house and i must say when it come to the class. you class is more like a famaly.. and the school ofers many sports. but the school has went down his since it changed its head staff in 2007-2008 year. the school is putting to much into christian ethics and not into education.

There has been little, if any, pre-college guidance including the dissimination of vital information regarding the Bright Futures Program which is strongly emphasized in the public school system. Whereas the school has provided an emphasis on Christian morals and teaching, in general they are greatly lacking in preparing their students to face post High School education from accredited colleges and universities. My other child attended both elementary and middle school at Lighthouse before enrolling as an IB student at DeLand High School. I regret that her brother did not make the same decision. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
