My son is in his Junior year in Monarch and I am happy to say that he Monarch's Honor's Program is more than challenging. His teachers' have a very positive attitude and are willing to go the extra mile for their students. On the other hand, I am disappointed that my son has not received a laptop ...  Read more

I moved to Florida from Buffalo,NY a little more than a year ago and was concerned with the overall education system in Florida and in particular Monarch with it's 'c' rating. However I am pleased to be able to say that if your child is genuinely interested in school; the faculty is more than happy to ...  Read more

My daughter graduated 05 from there she loved it. I also have my two younger nephews attending Monarch are they don't really like all the rules but they don't get into any trouble. Its a really safe school.

Monarch High School is a good school that has the potential to be a great high school with a little work. The academics are solid, there are some extra-curricular activities but not enough activities to promote school unity and spirit. Parents are involved some what but it could be better.

Monarch HS is a well run well organized school. Academics are challenging. The school seems to have ample opportunities for both girls and boys to participate in sports. Parent involvment appears to be good.

Like pep raleys during school in football season. The kids need to be more involved. The parents also need to get ...  Read more

I'm a little concerned that my daughter is not getting enough homework. At Lyon Creek she got at least a hours worth each night. Not that homework is the most important thing for students, I just feel it's better for them in the long run with college now on the horizon.

Being the parent of a Freshman, what I have observed so far is exciting. I am, however, disappointed, that the principal, Kathy Collins, will not be there after 2006. I believe she is the key to this school. Their AP and Honors programs are challenging - but not out of reach. The extracurricular ...  Read more

The School is ridiculous, the administration is horrendous, and the teaching, horrible. I honestly think that the 'zero' tolerance policy is ridiculous...
