Well, what I have to say about Johnson is this. My 7th grade son is in his 1st year at Johnson, and he went from 4 F's AND 3 D's at his last school to 4 A's and 3 C's. He is very happy there, and from what I have experienced so far, the teachers and staff are great. A quality education is the responsibility ...  Read more

I am a student here at JMS, and I want to say that anyone who thinks Johnson is a bad school they have obviously never been there. JMS has quality teachers who are willing to work to make sure the students pass their classes, even if it means to spend money out of there own pocket. There is not a strict ...  Read more

I am currently a teacher at Johnson Middle School and I have to tell you that a few of these reviews are completely contrary to what the school represents. I have been a teacher at Johnson Middle School since the 05/06 school year and see the dedication and effort the faculty and staff put forth daily. We work hard to create not only a safe environment at our school but an academic one as well. Go Eagles!

As a teacher who has worked in several other schools I choose to work at Johnson. The leadership here creates a safe place for our students. The faculty really does care about our students. Many go way beyond what is required of them.

Despite the economics, the staff are not apathetic, unmotivated nor is the school violent. Violence is in all schools and this school has successfully put a damper on ...  Read more

The majority of the staff is unmotivated. Tons of teachers left for the year 2007-2008 and the Pricipal lacks in leadership. This is not the school most involved parents with their children's education, would want to send their children. The school is filled with violance and education is not the ...  Read more
