Read what parents are saying about St. Patrick's Episcopal Day SchoolExcellent. This school has provided my child with a wonderful play-based experience in nursery. She is delighted with her experience, feels challenged, supported, and engaged, and looks forward to school each day.
Posted by a parent on 4/3/2019Both of my children had positive experiences at St. Patrick's. They left as confident and competent young people. They felt known and loved and had a variety of great experiences while there including cool field trips, well-produced musicals, solid classroom instruction, and sports participation. They made life-long friends. We found the community welcoming.
Posted by a parent on 4/1/2019Good school. Small class size, well managed and organized. However, $34k per year for Kindergarten is puzzling.
Posted by a community member on 6/5/2015My two oldest children attend (pre-K and first grade). We love the St. Pats community - very welcoming, nurturing, and the quality of education is high. (A friend with an older son told me he was well prepared for the academic rigors of St. Albans when he graduated from St. Pats.) The school's focus is on 'exceptional literacy,' and even the young students 'publish' their own stories.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was bullied at this school at the begging of third grade. His teacher was a first year teacher who didn’t have social skill, also had no control over her class and vice principal asked that my son remain in an unsafe environment with daily physical and verbal bullying. I moved my child to a different school and he is now thriving again. I will say while he was at Taylor for 2nd grade his teacher was wonderful and my son loved Taylor. 3rd grade principal changes and teacher changed and we experience nothing but issues from August - November of 2022.Parent Review1y ago - The River School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBISW Student Here. The management and authority are horrendous. There is an extreme lack of communication between staff members, often leading to a negative experience for the students. Not only is the authority bad, as no rule seems to apply to anyone but it is also messy. The school faculty is very aware of what goes on between the students, they don’t know how to find a way to get respected and decide to make random accusations instead. A great level of favoritism is shown, specifically for white students that have been in the school for a long time. Anyone that doesn’t fit the ideal profile is looked down upon by most teachers, and the mental health accommodations given to students are unclear and poorly managed. The only good thing could be the teachers, who have to endure waking up every morning to work in such a terrible school. Some seem to have a passion for education, while others seem to be frustrated with their life and have no motivation to share their knowledge. Overall, it is a great school if you want a secondary system where 3/4 of the students have severe substance abuse issues that they can happily consume in the school premises. Never have I seen a bar better than the boys bathroom!Student Review5mo ago - Annunciation Catholic School
