Read what parents are saying about Greenwich Catholic SchoolAbsolutely wonderful school! My children recently transferred in, and the transition was smooth and my kids love their new school. Academics are top notch, wonderful teachers, welcoming kids and families, and a fun, yet most strict environment where the kids are kind and well behaved. It’s everything we wanted in a school and more!
Posted by a parent on 5/8/2022This school is extremely biased towards the students with families with higher involvement. Not only have they understated the severity of death threats, racism and assault, but have also punished students of color for smaller demeanors than what other caucasian students may be excused of. There is a clear racist and classist biased within these walls.
Posted by a parent on 12/3/2021The school served its purpose during the pandemic as our child attended school daily so that my husband and I as essential employees could work. Additionally, my child did learn the basic required knowledge necessary for their grade level. That being said, the teachers are not equipped with the ability to create lessons that challenge students or are creative in any way. My child has even told me that the head teacher is “constantly typing on her phone.” Worksheet after worksheet review the same material starting in week one and this continues into June. The school lacks the ability to provide guidance for any student needing to be taught “outside the box” whether that means emotional challenges, giftedness, behavioral issues, or a combination of these things. If you have an average student with average behavior, have a family member working at the school, or are a big donor, you will do well here. Otherwise send your child to public school and use the money you save for extracurricular activities and/or tutoring.
Posted by a parent on 6/17/2021My son just started with GCS and I cannot be more pleased. Great teachers, curriculum, and management. I look forward to see my son grow with GCS in the next 8 years!
Posted by a parent on 5/15/2020On the positive side, Greenwich Catholic School emphasizes academics and excellence, but also incorporates innovative teaching. There are many school events and a tight-knit community. Great for students who are average or above in their abilities, and who are mainstream in their temperament. Many boys and their families are unhappy here because the boys are treated more harshly than girls, even for similar behavior. Teachers not at all attuned to these issues. Some teachers have been there for years and are dedicated. Others would likely not be able to keep a teaching job elsewhere, because of their incompetence or the way they treat the students. Favoritism toward students whose parents are active in the parent association/significant donors.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe attended Boulder knoll and loved every year we were there. My son was challenged, had freedoms to explore his interests, and developed relationships with his peers. We were looking for a traditional Montessori environment, and we found it, and more, at BKM. We love the diversity of the teachers, each with their strengths that nurture all types of children. The outdoor classroom is incorporated daily, and the children naturally honor their environment. I loved being a part of the BKM community. You will see for yourself, the children are happy- and the teachers are dedicated to the curriculum. You can easy see, and feel for yourself. This is the place you want your kids to be!Parent Review9y ago - Yeshiva K'tana Of Waterbury

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at Holy Trinity School was a positive one! The academics and the teachers helped prepare me to excel in high school. The smaller class sizes helped with one on one attention so I felt like I could get the help when needed.Other Review7y ago - Chase Collegiate School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student who attends Aces currently, I do agree that this place is great! It has a really great S.T.E.A.M (Science, tech, engineering, and, math) program. I also enjoy the fact that we can walk around on campus to get to each class. The breakfast and lunch is great too! Also, the pond is a great place to take some selfies. We are also allowed to have REC. They have 2 fields and a playground. For me, it feels like I am attending Hogwarts when I am in this school. It's fun, big, and educaitonal. And the best part I have made lifelong friends there! I really do hope you try and apply!Student Review2y ago - Greenwich Academy
