Read what parents are saying about Bethlehem Lutheran SchoolOne of the best decisions my husband and I have made for our family. The teachers are loving. The curriculum is rigorous and the class sizes ensure no kids are left behind. The community at Bethlehem is an enormous blessing in our lives.
Posted by a parent on 3/30/2024As a parent with two kids at Bethlehem Lutheran School, I'm overwhelmingly positive about our experience. The staff and Early Learning Center (ELC) provide a nurturing and safe environment that aligns with our family, ensuring our children are both cared for and educated. The commitment to offering a variety of activities and the exceptional dedication of the teachers have made our children's learning journey enjoyable and fulfilling. We're truly thankful for the sense of community and unwavering support our family has received.
Posted by a parent on 3/18/2024We love this school so much and are so grateful for the entire staff and all the families there. Our children are thriving and LOVE going to school. They're learning so much and it seriously is so amazing to see their growth. We couldn't be happier with this school!
Posted by a parent on 11/3/2023Our child has been attending Bethlehem Lutheran School since she was 2 in the ELC program. We have been very happy with the education and experience there and would definitely recommend! Our number one priority was faith-based learning, which has certainly been met. The teachers are all very invested in the kids, school, and overall community with many of them having their own kids attend the school, which makes them so much more accessible and approachable. I have also been very impressed with the quality of teaching they provide! The community of parents, teachers, administrators and staff is like family. While no institution is perfect or without problems, Bethlehem strives to ensure the health and happiness of all the kids attending!
Posted by a parent on 1/12/2023Bethlehem is a great school. My kids absolutely love it here. They feel very comfortable and they love all of the staff and teachers. Everyone is so nice and the learning that these kids are getting is genuinely amazing.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey are quick to jump to conclusions when it comes to under performing students. Quick to call social services. They were even deceptive in making the report per the social worker herself. They defend their incompetent teachers and victim blame the students. They don't have any kind of behavioral or emotional programs or alternative learning when it comes to the emotional needs of the children. They bully the students and they are quick to cover their tracks and defend each other’s actions at the expense of the children. There’s a reason they have Some of the lowest test Scores in the State.Parent Review3w ago - Slater Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was extremely disappointed with this school. The quality of the education my child received was what I would consider extremely lacking. Firstly I am one of those parents that does not understand why someone would become a teacher or principal and start having babies. I understand they have the best maternity leave of any job. On the flip side when you work with extremely young children, constant change throughout the year is disruptive to their learning processes. Just a thought that maybe if a job is for maternity leave, they should constantly working with middle or high school kids. While my child was here not only did the principal have maternity leave but so did my child’s kindergarten teacher. That disruption with her teacher created massive issues at home. My kiddo does not take well to constant change. Secondly, I understand the extra precautions for Covid. Every morning I give my child and immunity drop. Not a cough drop but an immunity drop. I have done this since she’s been old enough to have a piece of her candy in her mouth. I get a call from the school 20 minutes after I drop her off saying oh you need to come pick her up because she has a cough drop. I said it was the last of immunity drop and it was not a cough drop and my child is very aware of what they are!!!! She’s in kindergarten she has not had a cough or a fever, for goodness sakes she’s not even had any mucus coming out of her nose. They still made me come pick her up. The only good thing about the school was the after school program at kidsmart. My daughter started her new school being behind, despite her supposedly doing well on the testing here. Really makes a parent start questioning the process. She has been making extremely large learning strides at her new school. I blame Slater for slowing her education and am thankful to her new school for giving her the extra guidance to get her caught up.Parent Review2y ago - Colfax Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Colfax Elementary! I had 2 kids complete kindergarten through 5th grade there, who continue to excel in middle and high school thanks to the foundations taught at Colfax. Currently, I have kids in ECE and 1st grade at Colfax. The level of education is exceptional. The teachers are heavily invested and care about the whole child experience. The rest of the staff is top notch, caring for my kids like their own. But my favorite part of Colfax is the community, a strong sense of belonging as soon as you walk up to the school.Parent Review2y ago - Cowell Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you care about your child's education, then do not go to this school. No grades, no real guidance, no discipline, no structure and no motivation geared towards actual education. It does not hold kids accountable, does not teach responsibility and does not set kids up for success.Parent Review1mo ago - Wheat Ridge Christian Academy
