Read what parents are saying about Bolder Pathway SchoolThis school has changed not only my son's life but the entire family dynamics at home as well. Our home environment was chaotic and emotionally charged before our son began at Bolder Pathways. We see and feel the difference at home on a daily basis. We finally got our humorous, fun-loving, and creative son back. The patient support from his teachers and each teachers' true concern for our son's well-being and personal growth are felt by our son and by us as parents as well. I didn't believe this type of transformation was possible, but thanks to Bolder Pathways, our son is thriving and confident for the first time.
Posted by a parent on 12/22/2019This school is amazing. My son loves it here after just a few short days. He is thriving from the one to one lessons in the classroom. I am so glad we found this caring and supportive school.
Posted by a parent on 8/24/2019We put our special needs 12 year old into this school and by the end of the first week we had to pull her due to what we thought was such a terrible program. I have over 20 years experience working in education and with a special needs population, and I would highly recommend that you avoid Bolder Pathways. We have also talked to several families who are no longer at the program. I wanted to add that there is no one that regulates the private schools in the state of Colorado. After research, the Colorado Department of Education only shows accreditation bodies for informational purposes. In other words, there is absolutely no endorsement of their quality! After comparing different accrediting sources of private schools we found that the N.C.E.S was far from ideal. Furthermore, BPS has hired teachers who are not Colorado Department of Education certified, including the director. Her special education degree was completed at an online diploma school. Again, do your homework and avoid Bolder Pathways.
Posted by a parent on 6/14/2019We have been blessed by this innovative school and our son is finally happy to go to school each day and thriving. The individual approach to education and caring teachers are exactly what our son needed to believe in his abilities and reach his potential. Bolder Pathways had given us hope for a successful future for our son and we are so grateful to everyone here.
Posted by a parent on 11/17/2018Please avoid this school. My husband and I run a successful therapy practice and work with special needs children. From what we have seen, we think this school isn't an ideal place for special needs children. Terrible experience. Avoid it like the plague.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRyan Elementary is a really special place, where everyone is unified with the same goal, to make the best educational experience possible for each and every child. We choice-enrolled both of our sons into Ryan Elementary, and had a uniformly positive experience. The teachers at Ryan are superb--they know those kids and what each one needs to do their best, and they genuinely care about each kid's learning and well-being as an entire individual. Time and again, I observed teachers and staff going above and beyond, working together to figure out how to improve their teaching, even when they were already doing a great job. Ryan is a supportive environment, where the staff hold themselves to high standards and keep the kids' best interests front and center. I was particularly impressed by the way that the teachers, paras, and social-emotional experts were able to tailor their services to students with varied needs--kids on IEPs or special ed needs, kids with Advanced Learning Plans or who were identified as gifted and talented, and kids who had strengths in areas that were in areas outside of the traditional core academic areas, like music and art. Principal Kristi Shaner is a strong and responsive leader, who effectively seeks out and balances feedback from her staff, parents, and objective data about students' performance and how that compares to district and state-level performance. Ryan is a gem; Westminster residents are lucky to have access to the school and those of us in neighboring communities are lucky to be able to choice into the school. They do so much with a modest budget and despite Jeffco's relatively poor teacher salaries. I would enroll my kids there again, in a heartbeat, and count myself fortunate to have been a part of their community.Parent Review1y ago - Mountain View Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have a soon to be 5th grader at Emerald Elementary and I couldn’t be more proud to be part of this community. We transferred our son for 3rd grade from AC and our only regret is not having started from kindergarten. Principal Samara Williams is articulate, compassionate, intelligent and cares about each student as a whole! She takes the time to know her students, their needs, and their families! I feel privileged to have the opportunity to send my child here! All the teachers and supporting staff are caring, knowledgeable, make the students feel seen, loved and make learning interesting!Parent Review1y ago - Kohl Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Kohl and all the teachers my two children have had. My daughter was on an IUP and it really helped her catch up and build her confidence. When she graduated the teachers actually shed tears they were so proud. Can't say enough good things.Parent Review1y ago - Life Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent. I was impressed with how much attention is given to the student learning experience. I also appreciated the attention to student safety as our city had a few violent events this year at other schools. When these threats were present in the city, we got a text about the threat and what the school was doing to keep our kids safe. Their teacher and after care staff were amazing, couldn’t have asked for a better experience this year.Parent Review4y ago - Broomfield Academy
