This school is hard to fit into as a new student. There is much Nepotism, very cliquey. You are best off if you start at an early grade. The teachers overall are nice and caring. Favortism is apparent though.

One distinctive that I value the most here as a teacher is that I am allowed to approach both problems and opportunities in creative ways. Because the lines of communication are always open, I am truly free to teach. I also have 6 grandchildren attending Belleview Christian School from Kindergarten-High School and I have been very impressed with both the quality of education and the sound Biblical approach. Belleview is a wonderful school. We have a Kindergartener and an 8th grader. We love the atmosphere of the school because it is a small community that shares our family s values and honors Christ. The teachers send their own children to Belleview. Everyone (students and faculty) is a tightly knit family.
... Read more Academically, it is excellent with students performing a 1 to 1 years ahead of their public school peers. While many public schools are eliminating fine arts programs, Belleview has an excellent art, music and performing arts program for all grades. The administrators, teachers and staff really care for the children and work to help them grow into their full potential. The faculty is approachable and desire to serve families and students. The administrators embody what it means to be servant hearted leaders. Also, the administrators are taking a proactive stand against school violence. After the school shootings in Bailey, Colorado, they conducted a security check of the school and developed a plan to increase school security. Over the summer they moved the school office next to the entrance and installed security cameras. This summer they plan to build a new security entrance with controlled access to the school. The entrance will have a button that the school secretary can press to lock out an intruder. It gives us peace of mind to know that these precautions are in place. I know that the two school districts in the area want to add similar types of entrances to their schools too. However, Mapleton District 1 s ballot initiative failed. I m not sure about District 50 s plans. All in all Belleview is the best possible school for our family! Read less
