Although, I am happy to say that in the three years I have been there and from over the 17 teachers that I have had, I loved all of them with the exception of one or two. rocky top middle school is the most exciting school in the state. There is always 4.0 around 50 students get 4.0 average ever trimester. The teachers are absoultly perfect and great help. I go to Rocky Top and I have amazing teachers. My math teacher, Ms. Sucharova is the best math teacher in the state! We have a lot of fun at pep assemblies and rock the house. We have lots of cool ac tivities before and after school. Our CSAP scores always turn out high and sports we always go to championships

In national junior honor socierty we have lots of chances for community service, and have lots of chances to babysit for parent-meetings, so I have no clue what that one person is talking about. Rocky Top is a very inviting school. I shouold know because I am in a wheelchair and at some otherf schools I was treated luke a thing that always needed help, not with true dignity or independence. I am right in the middle with my judgement. The academics seem great and I love the weekly progress reports so that I can stay on top of any issues we may face. The attention to security is a blessing but we do face challenges. A polite discussion doesnt stop bullying as effectively as a note home

There is an extreme lack of parent envolvement with this school as well. We are more than half way through the school year and we have been invited to the school on one occasion. Academics seem very good. Overall my child has had wonderful, caring teachers. The administration does an excellent job keeping students safe and does not tolerate bullying. Communication of academic progress to parents is outstanding, grades are e-mailed weekly. Homework assignments are posted on

The school doesn't have a parent group despite parents expressing interest in starting one. The administration is not supportive of parents having an organization.
