I've been a student for a little over a month now. while the teachers are great. the school is way overcrouded. For some kids, getting going as soon as the bell rings and completeing tasks quickly before the onslaught of kids come down the halls is natural. other then the overcrouding and lack of afterschool

We are very disappointed with the attitudes of some counselors and teachers. We have two daughters that attend FHS, one is a freshman, the other a senior. Both did very well through elementary and middle school. Both have struggled through high school. Struggled enough that our senior is not graduating.
... Read more Both have asked teachers and counselors for assistance, and received little or no help. We have left several messages for a counselor to call us, and no return phone calls. These people are supposed to be there to help, they sure don't seem to care! We are very seriously considering not returning to FHS!! Read less

I have one daughter who graduated from Falcon HS and two current students. My first daughter graduated with honors and was very involved with cheer sports and extra activities/clubs. She is doing very well in college and I am thankful for all the teachers and administrators who helped with her education.
... Read more My two current children are both involved in sports and cheer and some extra activities and this keeps them very active and productive. I don't believe that the sports/cheer programs takes away a lot of money from the school because we do outside fundraisers to supplement such as booster club selling, or cheer camps for the middle and elementary school. Compared to other sports programs we are actually pretty moderate. Hopefully these other students who find different interests can show some initiative to start their own clubs. This is what my oldest daughter did! Read less

The coursebook is very limited, as well as the options for clubs, and although the teaching staff is very knowledgable, the staff in general seem not to be on the same page.

I agree that way to much focus is on sports, and there are absolutely no extracurricular music programs. There's bad notification about clubs and such, because I can count all of our clubs on two hands.

There are to many sports activities and not enough other after school activities for the students who choose not to participate in those. i think the school needs to spend less money on the football team and the cheeleaders and spend money on something that everyone can enjoy.

The environment seems friendly, yet the extracurricular activities and electives are of no comparison to Rampart, but they will do.

I currently attend FHS. I think it's a great school, but too overcrowded. Ever since they built Woodmen Hills, it became this way. The classes are crowded and you can barely move in the hallways. Despite this, the teachers are great, you just have to get over the fact that its so crowded.
