I think Elizabeth Elizabeth high school deserves no stars what so ever. My two students, and all of their friends are treated more like prisoners, than ready to learn students. I was a student at ehs. I'm no longer enrolled there, and i thank god everyday. Now that i've gotten out of that place my grades have not only increased, but i'm getting straight A's. I'm no longer worrying about whats so come. Even my face has cleared up, because i'm not stressing day in and day out,
... Read more about the work, and the teachers. Don't get me wrong. There are a few teachers there, that respect us. Rarely, us students came across a teacher that actually cared about us, and made us want to do better. But i have to say, i'm one of the many ex students of EHS, that are on a better track in life. Ppl that had horrible trouble at ehs, are even getting there lives together ATTENDING THE ALTERNATIVE School! Extracurricular activities abound and students can enjoy numerous after school activities. The community as a whole is very supportive of the school. Reading previous reviews, I find the assertion of the school being faith-based laughable. Parents looking for a smaller school experience can rest assured that their children will be offered a solid educational and extracurricular experience. Read less

Two of our kids went to EHS. Good school but it has a serious problem. The school is operated by a faith based religous group. Bad for the outsiders trying to learn. The teachers leave for other schools. The future is grime for EHS, because CO schools are locally controlled- perfect for faith based orders

After findind this site and reading the 4 reviews posted for Elizabeth, I find it interesting that the one that puts down the school mthe most was writen very well. I guess the school is doing something right if this person is able to comunicate in such a manner. I go there and I find it to be very good.

I went to Eliz. HS & enjoyed it very much. Now, as a college freshman teacher I've learned that EHS prepared me for college as well as any other school. I only wish the problems with the administration were not taken out on the students. The turn around of teachers and administrators is frustrating

The school in general is not student or parent friendly. The teachers spend too muck time complaining about workload adn pay and not enoguh time teaching the kids. I agree wit their points, they should be paid more and have less students and more resources to teach, but our kids do need to hear that

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
