My experience at MCC was a mixed bag. There were things I both hated and loved. I think that the elementary departments are superior, but junior high and high school lack in several extra-curricular & academic areas. I did not feel academically prepared once I entered college for many reasons, but hard work & dedication (outside of MCC) certainly changed that. Read less

I am delighted to teach at Maranatha where there is an open door for Christian education and encouragement. The staff is caring and loving and consistently pour themselves out for the students. Both the Bible and the academic curriculums are challenging and superb.

My two children attended Maranatha since they were in preschool and each of them excelled. I feel their education was well worth the tuition paid. THE BEST! All 3 of my children have attended there from preschool through 12th grade. They all graduated from Maranatha with top honors and GPA above 4.0. Two attend Colorado School of Mines, and one is at Regis University. Many graduates have earned great scholarships, including my children and

MCC is a quality school with teachers that care and teach the child, not the test as do the public schools. No school is perfect but MCC strives to be a godly influence in the life of each child. As a teacher it's great to have small class sizes. You actually get to know the students, their personalities and how they learn. With a senior class of 19 in my Bible class we could interact, joke around, and still get serious study done.

We love this school and would highly recommend it. They call kids to a higher standard and do not lower the bar for anyone. Some kids do not like that. AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.
