Primanti Montessori School

I would rate it a 2. The reason why im not giving it a 1 is because the facility appeared clean and orderly but thats what you expect for all daycares. The place was to clean...almost institutionalized.

My 10 years old child Johnson has been studying at the Primanti Montessori school for 6 years now. I have seen incredible growth in him over the year in terms of education, behavior, general knowledge and personality. He has become more interested in knowing the reason behind everything. I highly recommend the Primanti Montessori school to all parents who want to see great growth in their child.

I enrolled my children in the pre-k program and about 6 years ago and they are currently in the Elementary program. The state test results just came in and I'm proud to say both children tested at least 3-4 grades above grade level. At the end of the day, the proof is in the pudding. The teachers and staff go above and beyond their call of duty. The owners are personable and always listened to my concerns or suggestions. Parent input is welcomed. At least this is how they have made me feel for the past 6 years. If this was my school, I may make a few minor changes I.e. the lunch selections. However, it's not all about "me". I respect the institution and find that in the "real" world, we don't always get what we want and that's okay too.

The Montessori curriculum at this school is excellent. Teachers and support staff are amazing.Im giving the school 2 stars because there is NO parent input, NO parent engagement, NO parent involvement. Yes-once in a while parents are allowed to volunteer in the classroom or at special events, but parents have ZERO say in what can be done to improve the school. This is unfortunate because many parents are professionals-business owners, doctors, dentists, teachers--and many well to do families...many resources at the schools disposal yet the leadership doesnt recognize this. Plus, there is an opportunity for well to do families to contribute to school scholarships for families that would like to send their children to the school but cant afford the hefty tuition. Lots of potential...Recommendations 1) tap into parents, you'll see a richer, memorable school experience, increased school pride, and long waiting lists to get into the school. 2) conduct an exit interview. Learn what families enjoyed about the school and what can be improved and use this feedback to strengthen the school 3) work with families who have multiple children. A small break in tuition for multiple children is not enough. Offer scholarships.

My daughter has attended Primanti Montessori since pre-school. She is now a 6th grader. She has excelled in all areas academically. She was recently accepted in the John Hopkins program. We are happy with the school.
