Teachers, administrator and principal are very supportive of kids. They provide a very safe and nurturing environment. My kids have thrived there after leaving public school. Bullying is basically non-existent and the parents help to make this a great community.

School was prepared for distance learning with very few hiccups at the beginning of the pandemic. My child has and is still receiving a quality education despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. In all fairness to the principal she does her best and overall the school is providing a quality education for the children. She has been very accommodating and helpful to all concerns I have addressed with her. None of us is perfect and the complaints I have heard about her seem unfair and based on people not getting their way. This is a private school that abides by edicts put forth by the San Francisco Archdiocese.

CONS: Principal needs much improvement. School used to offer Homework Club, which Ms. Boland replaced with yoga sessions. If you raise a concern, she will deflect or tell you one thing to appease you but walk back on her word – makes it difficult to have an open line of communication. Often needs to be reminded to communicate to parents. Principal has shown a preference not to collaborate with parents by reducing the required volunteer hours & instead has asked for cash donations. Has shut down parents’ voices. It is her way or the highway. Takes offense to parents raising concerns; doesn’t acknowledge any missteps. She struggles with treating people fairly; shows bias towards certain parents with whom she sees value to. Hope the principal does not cause the outstanding teachers to leave. PROS: Parent community is welcoming, diverse & involved. My children are progressing well academically. Good facilities. Good camaraderie between kids. Hot lunch program. AM/PM onsite Extended Care.

This school did not do very nicely with my child. He was just kicked out of school in the middle of the school year. The one day when I was called to school, for his bad behavior. Without a warning and a report, they said that he had problems. They did not even give the time to find a new school. And in the end my child stayed at home for 2 months while I found a new school. I asked the principal why they did not give any report and did not let parents know that the child is a problem, in return I received (I DO NOT KNOW). And I figured out that the teachers give the children ipad during the lessons so they did not have to work much. It's a pity, but I'm not the first one not happy with this school.
