As a new family to St. Rita I was surprised how welcomed and comfortable we felt. This community is more than we expected. I didn't realize that when our kids started school it wouldn't be just our kids that would make good friends, but it was also my husband and I that would make the best of friends. The teachers are incredibly engaged and are always open to having a private meeting. They offer extra tools for us to use with our kids at home and they really push our kids to reach their full potential. I was so shocked when my kid finished TK being able to read. At that age I was still napping and finger painting. They have been exposed to so many new subjects and are always excited to go to school. I got a kick out of my kid coming back home as a Kindergartner counting in Spanish all the way to 100. This school has been the best fit for our family, hands down. We toured so many schools before landing at St. Rita. The vibe is definitely one that welcomes all. That's probably why the kids all look so happy when you drop off. I would encourage anyone looking for a challenging academic program and welcoming community to check out St. Rita.

As a former student of this school, all I can say is that I am disappointed. I got bullied for 3 years and the teachers didn’t do a thing other than occasionally take him from lunch. He said stuff like,”I will cut your head off.” My teacher then said that I was just trying to get him in trouble when I told on him. If it wasn’t for their lack of discipline on the bully or doing anything more serious than calling home, I might have stayed. I cannot forgive them for doing close to nothing about my predicament, which explains my rating.

I removed both my children for several reasons, but primarily the lack of rigor and discipline in the classroom and the unsettling amount of bullying that is tolerated on and off campus. I would look elsewhere for a positive academic experience in a Catholic environment.
