I am a freshmen that attends La Serna High School and I graduated Granada last year. Many of the teachers, from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, prepare you with analyzing skills and critical thinking skills that are needed for high school. I take honors classes this year, and many of the skills I learned

This is an awesome school. The teachers and principal are so caring. My daughters are learning so much and they are honor students. They previously went to a private school and I have to say this school is actually better.

... Read more is in 8th grade & was lucky enough to have Dr. Passalacqua for at least 1 year. My youngest will be there soon enough & as my oldest she will also be just as lucky!! The 1 thing I do miss from when I was there is the dances, we had the funnest dances, they had themes, Polaroid pictures you could purchase, bake sale outside. When she started 6th grade I tried to get on the dance committee like my Mom was in charge of but no one ever called back. :) Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
