It is sad to see that a continuation school was doing better than a regular school. I attended La Mirada High, but had to come here and this is where I excelled the most, and was able to graduate earlier. Great staff, great teachers. I could not have asked for more.

My son started El Camino this year and I can't tell you how happy I am with his progress, now he comes home and wants to talk about what he's learning the teachers and staff are great there so positive it really make a difference. Keep up the great work !!!!

I attended this school and graduated class of 2002. I made up all my credits in time for grauation thanks to all my teachers I had. The teachers seem to take time to show you something you didnt understand than a regular school. Thank you to all the staff and teachers!

I did not want to send my daughter to the school, but after doing so, I could not have been happier. The staff was great and Mr. Brown goes out of his way to make this a great school!!! I give this school credit for my daughter finishing High School!!!

When I Went there (2003-2004). The teachers are probably the best teachers I've ever had in high school. Besides that, this school was NO challenge what so ever. The only positive thing was, the staff is great and doesn't treat you like an idiot.

Much to my surprise my son [has] excelled at El Camino. I noticed a change in his attitude and grades from the very beginning. Not only is it neccesary for the parents to be involved with their children it is also important that the teachers show that they care about their students and this is what I feel my son got from this school. An attitude from teachers telling him that he was somebody and that whatever he put his mind to he could accomplish. My hat goes off to the teachers at El Camino High for their continued support of these students who could not or would not maintain at a main stream school. Way to go! Read less

I transfer in to this school becuse of creadits and my old school was trying to teach to me but to the class this school work with the student the princpal cares about the students and trys to help them out if and when they need it.

My son got lost in the crowded classrooms at another high school and the teacher's just didn't seem to care. He went from A's and B's to D's and F's. I transferred him to El Camino to catch up on his credits and he was back to A's and B's. Even had perfect attendance the whole year. He just graduated

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
