why is our school so spectacular? one. we have the api of 864, and most of our students are at a disadvangtage. and on top of that we are one of the most spirited schools and we're great in baseball, tennis and badminton. and i don't have to go to school and get worried of getting shot :) its a disneyland

Has a great diversity. Excellent teachers. La Quinta offers a variety of classes to prapare their students in order for them succeed in college and life. La Quinta sets the bar higher each year and year after they reach their goal. It's a great school!

As a former student, it makes me very proud to see the API scores! The teachers I had were always very supportive. The music program is amazing! Mr. Hensley has true passion for teaching his choir students; I could not have had a more amazing and talented choir teacher! Countinue to be amazing LQHS!

I think the school is fabulous. The students all interact very well with one another and everyone is very friendly. My daughter is very pleased with the education she is getting from the school. You feel very welcome, and the students are very spirited and very involved with what's going on in the

The school has good AP classes offered for student who wants to get ahead and/or get high GPA for there ambitious dream of getting into a prestigious university. Sports are not that great, but what the heck as long as the kids get into a good college. Classes are small now due to increase in population

This school is small, but spirited. I would not say it is a great place to meet new people, because most of the students here are too attached to their own clique to make new friends. ... Read more trust their students to be unattended in a classroom. However, most of the teachers do not make sure that everyone in the classroom understands the material. There are even some teachers that let students do homework from other classes during lectures. However, there are some teachers that are like friends to the students. Students are comfortable to ask them questions. All in all, I would not recommend this school. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
