... Read more you if you do bad things, but they won't give you the death glare if you have an untucked shirt. Rincon teachers are the best with students, and about all those rumors about fights- they are usually stopped almost right after they occur and the teachers aren't at fault, they walk around to make sure that stuff like that doesnt happen, but they are not mind readers or physics; they can't tell when or where a fight is going to happen, which doesn't happen as often as people think. Great curriculum, I'm a graduated Rincon Intermediate student. I didn't necessarily pass the RAIS program (Rincon Academy of International Studies), but I agree that the teachers are dedicated and taught me well. I failed the personal project by 2 points, but it's a great experience to go through.

I am a RAIS student at Rincon and Ibelieve it is a great school for students who want excell in school. This school offers something that no other shool does, RAIS.I f a student is in RAIS it opens so many opertunities in highchool and it gets them ready for college. The teachers make learning fun
... Read more and are there when you need them. The only problem with rincon are the fights, but that is not the schools fault, there discipline is very good and what happens all depends on the students. I had fun this year at rincon and look forward to another. Read less

I am a parent of an 8th grade RAIS student at Rincon. The school has some great teachers, good academic programs like RAIS which is similar to the High School IB program. However, Rincon lacks direction and discipline. I've seen problem students move on to High School with barely Ds and because the school
... Read more wants them out they get passing grades. There are others who bully and fight constantly and after a few days suspension they will still graduate. I've seen lack of parent participation, poor extracurricular activities,drug problems ,constant fights and plenty of bullying during the two years that I've had my child in that school. All I can say is keep your eyes open and on top of your child's grades, friends and school and you will get by. Read less

Our son is on his first year at Rincon and he has progressed tremendously well and is now one of the top students in his class. All because of his teachers who are mostly very encouraging and helpful. Keep it up, Rincon!

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
