The middle school has outstanding instructors who work together to regularly review and upgrade the curriculum. 7th grade civil war week comes to life with re-enactments, games, and even cooking. In the spring, the entire 7th grade travels with teacher chaperones to Washington DC to experience the historic sites. Finally, it can be a financial stretch to send a child here, but financial aid is available for students when it's needed -- including aid for field trips and after school activities. Read less

A good, solid school for most children, but not for the highly gifted child, who would be better served elsewhere. The library is a warm, inviting place and the campus serene and sheltered. Many teachers are top-notch, but in the years our family was there, we felt some unfortunate hiring decisions

My children (2) have been very happy here. It is a warm and caring community with excellent staff. The facilities are terrific. Teachers bring small problems to your attention immediately so they do not grow into big ones and are very interested in working with parents.

Our student was in the middle school. For all aspects we have the highest of praise. Warm, challenging, demanding teachers. Very engaged administration. In particular the english program was of the very highest caliber. The 8th grade students are writing essays of upper high school quality. HIstory comes

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
