This school by far has shown the most interest in every one of the students. Whether it be the high or low, the entire staff continues to look for ways to help them succeed. The students have been taught to care and be understanding to all whether they are different or the same as everyone else. It

I have 2 children who attend this school, and I will say that the teachers have been awesome! Teachers at this school (most of the ones we have had) go the extra mile for their students and really connect with the children.The office staff and the primcipal howere leave alot to be desired. The community club is a poorly run club that does not focus on the children- only on a select group of bossy moms.I still rated the school highly because the teachers are excellent and they matter the most! This school offers high parent involvement, a great support network for the kids, and wonderful teachers. My children are happy and challenged at Walnut El, and the staff is warm, encouraging, and attentive.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
