My children are new to Oswalt Academy K-8. I am very impressed with the principal, teachers, parents and students. There is great communication with each other through email and in person. My son is a fifth grader and loves the apple one program they offer. I just received a review of my child's progress

The new name is Stanley G. Oswalt Academy; it's a k-8, not k-6 anymore. It is a good school with caring teachers & staffs. Academically strong. The kids love to go to school, that means the school is doing something right!

We have a highly trained and exemplary staff of teachers and support staff who truly teach to the individual student. We have a rigorous curriculum that is inquiry based so that the students can learn to 'think outside the box'. Our students are incredible human beings who come to school every day

We have a very strong PTSA who support teachers and students in every realm of the educational process. Parents and the community members are an important support system to the education of all children on our campus. We have two administrators that guide and keep us focused and uplifted throughout our teaching experience at Oswalt. They are true educators who keep the teachers informed and up to date with the latest strategies and processes of teaching methods and especially educate the parents in regards to their child's education at Oswalt. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
