I make the decisions with the help of professional people to help guide me in my teaching. Let's face it. There is not one parent or teacher that has all the bases covered. I graduated from Eagles Peak Vista this last year and found the smaller enviorement more educating compared to public schools. I found my grades had skyrocketed, my worst subjects had become my best, my life was happier with the constent help and attention, i was doing great.(thanks Mr.Ramey),I took

There is a lot of administrative problems, but the teachers and students have done really well. I love that the kids are getting a class education 2 days a week and homeschooling for core subjects 3 days. It has been the perfect mixture for my family.

I am very pleased this year with the Montessori Academy. They have made some major improvements from last year. My daughters teacher is very organized and adds structure to the classroom. The students are respectful of each other and learning in a calm atmosphere. Huge improvement over last year.

The Montessori Academy has been great for my children! My daughter attended the standard public school for kindergarten and two months of 1st grade. She was in tears because the standard school would not give her anything new to learn. She is in her 3rd year at the Montessori Academy and being challenged
... Read more and loving it. Her brother started last year and because he was also accelerated the academy put him into a grade level that would challenge him. Both of the kids are working above the grade levels that the standard schools would have kept them in. I really like that the kids go to academy three days a week and I homeschool the other two days. It is the perfect hybrid for us. We are able to incorporate hands-on learning and field trips which bring the learning to life for all us. Read less

This could be an excellent school. They have a great curriculum and a really good idea of what this school could be. The problem here is staff that is horribly organized and seriously lacks internal communication not only amongst themselves but with parents. It is truly sad. Without proper organization

Our 7th grade daughter came from a highly challenging academic environment where she did not excel in the core subjects but did great in music and art. My husband and I wanted to keep her in a small school environment which is why we decided to enroll her in Eagles Peak, Creative Arts Academy, Vista.
... Read more We were impressed by all the extras they offered; programs that the kids enjoyed - like Show Choir, Drama, Guitar, Drawing, Drums and more. My husband and I believe we are getting a good academic mix with classes she enjoys. She is thriving. REGULAR PUBLIC SCHOOLS were just not an option for us; most parents would be shocked if they knew what went on in a typical day. ... Read more to Eagles Peak. The teachers were better than the principal because I actually learned from them. But I feel that the principal was keeping them from doing their jobs. The parent involvement is fine, but the only thing I saw that counted as parent involvement was them volunteering to help out in class.But the only thing I saw was them sorting and correcting papers in class.I don't really think of that as parental involvement.The discipline actions were great.No homework, no recess.Violent students were suspended. My personal experience in Eagles Peak was memorable to say the least. Read less
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
