First and second graders make advanced Power Points based on what they learn in lab. 3rd -5th graders are continually engaged in a projects which you can see on the school website where each child has a digital portfolio. Students have participated in web conferences, they've debated, designed rockets from an engineering perspective, created commercials and are participating in a rigorous curriculum that many students don't experience until high school. Half way through the year, we decided to pull our Kindergartener out of the private school he was in and choose to send him to Casita Center for Math, Science, and Technology for a variety of reasons but primarily because we felt he was not getting the education we were paying for. ... Read more decision we ever made! We are getting EXACTLY what we thought we SHOULD get at a private school at Casita Center. The teachers are fantastic, they truly care about the students and do all that they can to teach the children not only in the 'theory' based but also about caring for others and how the lessons impact in the community / world. Casita Center is an amazing place for kids to learn. The Magnet program has kids participating in hands on projects allowing them to see real world applications to their learning versus traditional text book learning. I am proud and honored to have my child attend Casita Center.

Casita Center has a lot to offer that other public schools don't provide. After having multiple kids attending Casita over the past 10 years, I've watched the overall guality decline and deteriorate over the past few years. Advanced Placement
