Average school for this area. Concerned about teacher to student ratios and rowdiness in classrooms/school grounds. Better than most Escondido schools, but not as impressive as we'd hoped.

We have been very happy with all aspects of Lilac. Our son just completed kindergarten and is in the bilingual program. My husband who went to private schools all his life had his doubts but is thrilled so far. Parent volunteers are highly encouraged. The principal appears to know every student by name.

I have two children in Lilac Elementary, both of which are in the bilingual program. We have had nothing but positive experiences here. The teachers are wonderful, very caring and professional. Our principal is very involved with the students. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to volunteer in the classrooms.

My son has had a wonderful kindergarten experience at Lilac School. The teachers are friendly and caring and the principal seems very involved. Parents are also encouraged to be involved. It is a new school in a great setting. I feel lucky that my children are in the district!

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
