My student has been at MIT for 4 years, since 6th grade. From the other posts, I agree that things were very unorganized in the past. I have seen a drastic changes in the school for the 2008-09 school year, and am hopeful that things will continue to improve. I know there is new Director and many

I'm a teacher at this school. This school dedicates more time to each individual student than any school I know or have worked at. The curriculum is project-based, relevant to students, and challenging. All issues that existed before 2008 are now gone, and a new staff at the top is in place and making

Any attempt by students to discredit the school and it's value is truly disappointing, and I would have to say that any students having problems here are going to have problems at any school they attend- Behavior counselors on site are proactive in working with kids and any issues they may have. I love it here and want to work no place else. Read less

MIT became more unorganized and i seriously think they need a file cabinet to keep all of our information because sometimes, computers are not reliable. It May be a Technology School, but all things do not have to be Technological. At the beggining of the eighth grade, most students didn't even know their full schedule, they had missing classes, and two classes at the same time. but, it's still pretty good for portables and hills. My son started in at MIT last year as a 6th grader. I was very hopeful that this would be a good choice of schools. However, I feel that Administration is overwhelmed with issues. Issues brought to the attention of the Director are resolve quickly. Like any school there are good teachers and some not

I became a student at MIT my 11th grade year. (I transferred from Jesse Bethel High) Everyone seems to have a problem with the teachers at MIT, and I don't. As with any learning institution, there are a few bad ones.. But in this case, I don't believe the clich 'one bad apple spoils the bunch' applies.

My child has attended MIT since 6th grade, currently 9th grade. Although there has been some disorganization, overall I am very pleased with our experiance. I enjoy the 'out of the box' learning and some of the extras that are offered (Mandarin Chinese, Ford Pass, 3 year high school, college classes on campus, etc..)
