The school has great classes but recently have installed cameras all over the campus. When they are having issues funding extra programs and firing teachers wit an already lack of math books for classrooms. Yet year after year they either build or fix-up the school's appearance instead of funding what

As a senior at Upland High I have seen the school's atmosphere really transform. I expect that it'll only get better as the years go by. There are some amazing teacher's, but with good comes bad and, unfortunately, some should have spared both students and parents and never chose the career path to

I can honestly say within the two years my son has been attending Upland, that I have become more and more disgruntled at the staff and the shool as a whole. The teachers are far to concerned about themselves and the popular kids to care or even pay attention to the others. We have often had assignments

I will definitely be looking into transferring my son from this good old boy small town joke of a high school, to somewhere that actually cares for ALL the kids futures and academic well being, not just who the ones whose family were alumni or are the 'in' kids. My daughter is a sophmore at Upland High and I love it! We drive 60 miles every day just for her to go there. The schools in our area have lower test scores and are not on the same educational level as Upland. We transferred our daughter to Upland Unified when she was going into Jr. High-that way entering

She has maintained a 3.5 GPA so far through 9th and 10th grade. She is extremely involved on campus and the students have wonerful school spirit. My only complaint is the new administration. They hired a new principal and vice principal last school year and they are terrible. The District thought the school would benifit from having two principals but it has actually not been benifical at all. Read less

I really liked Upland High School. I was fortunate enough to be in ASB, on the track and cross country teams, played soccer for a year, and was in the Honors/AP program. This school is great because it offers so many activities for the students to do. How ever one thing i would say is that the school

Overall Upland is a bunch of networks that all work well together and make Upland a great place to receive a high school education. oH and also I don't know what I think about the new adminstration move to 2 principles. I was very pleased how it was working before and I liked the Assistant Principal that is no longer there. Read less

I am not happy with the school having so many teachers that just give out worksheets and sit down. They should be instructing and checking for understanding. Our two daughters attended Upland High; both were on the Honors/AP track and did very well. We are continually surprised at the number of students at the school on non-school days or after school hours.
