The teachers in high school have had an amazing impact on me through their personal lives and their work lives. As for the high school principal, she is doing a wonderful job at knowing the teachers and students. UCS rates below average in many areas. First, it is not a Christ center school as it claims to be. The teachers and parents form their own little circles. They display favortism toward certain group of parents and children. Second, many teachers are not devoted. They leave right after the children
... Read more are dismissed. If you want to discuss your children's progress after school, They are usually not there. Third, besides phonics, most of the academic areas are poor. My son can barely write a decent paragraph in third grade. And the text books are out dated. Fourth, the principal is not involved with the children's learning. Child has attended for two years, teachers we have encountered seems very eager to teach and students loving to learn. Most teachers seem to enjoy parent involvement. Would like to see more activites planned for students and parents to become better acquainted with the school needs.

This is a great school if you have a model student with no academic issues. There are several extra activities to join and students that fit in are very happy here. If there are any learning issues I do not reccommend this school as they will not accomadate for any child.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
