This school failed to meet my expectations. Uniform standards are not adhered to and social cliques are common. Upon transferring my daughter to a public school we discovered she was several credits short of graduation and would need to attend summer school. This was never brought to our attention

I have two sons at Redwood Academy of Ukiah. Both are doing very well. They require uniforms and have a code of disipline the keep the students safe. The school recieved the Distinguished School award in the 2004-2005 school year. One of my sons will be completing 12th grade and graduating from Redwood
... Read more Academy this year. He was extra shy when he started at Redwood Academy in the 7th grade. The teaching staff notice how shy he was and have coaxed him to where at Promotion ceremony he was able to perform for the entire student body and their parents. My other student started at the sister charter school, Accelerated Achievement Academy, in the 5th grade. He was a year behind in his reading abilities and by the end of the 6th grade he was ready to transfer to Redwood Academy's College Prep program and has achieve a 3.6 average. Read less

This school has saved my son, he was slow at reading. He started at Accelerated in the 5th grade; his 5th and 6th grade teacher gave him the individual attention he needed. Now he has transferred to a College Prep Charter school where is has been on Honor Roll every quarter of his 7th grade year. His
... Read more GPA was 3.6 every quarter this year. I thank God for Accelerated Achievement Academy's teachers. Accelerated has created a small charter school where students are safe, because the staff requires a high code of conduct. Student wear uniforms with removes the class/click politics that make regular public school a nightmare of peer pressure. Read less

I have my daughter in Redwood Academy for ninth grade. When she was at Pomolita for junior high her grades were slipping. She now has A & B's and only occasional C's. The teachers are very attentive to the kids. There are many after school extra curricular activies. I like that they wear uniforms. School

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
