Currie is the best middle school in Tustin. Currie helped me alot. It has the best special ed program. Currie will meet all of your standards. PE was tough but in the end i learned to push myself and achieve my goals. Currie the home of the COUGARS!!!

I currently work at Currie Middle School and I can tell you it is the best school in Tustin for your student. In the 2006 school year we acquired a new principal and assistant principal who are awesome. We are the only school in the district that has state of the art smartboards with mounted projectors
... Read more in every classroom. You will not find a PE program more invested in the health and well being of your students. Our core teachers are second to none and the staff strives daily to make Currie a learning community. Currie is not a place students have to be, It is a place students want to be. We expect high standards and we achieve them. You are welcome to come to any school in the district before enrolling your student. Do your homework and check them all out for yourself. I have had three (plus myself) go through this school, however this time around has not left the same taste. While we have seen our 'testing score go up' (slowly), we have witnessed the fall of elective/fun classes. We have only those classed that can mesh with core classes. My current child that is
... Read more enrolled in the school is a music person; she has had limited direction at best in the past 3 years. I would rate this music program way below par, at a 1. I believe in parent involvement and have gotten to know the administration and most teachers. They seem to be genuinely interested in the success of the children. However this school is neither superior nor inferior in these district standards. Read less

Currie is the best school because there are lot's of oppertunitys for your child. Currie may not have a gym or it's not the biggest, but one thing I can tell you is that Currie has the best teachers ever. The teachers in Currie has encouraged my daughter to study. Now instead of grabing the remote control
... Read more she grabs a book and she starts to study. I'm really proud of my daughter with her grades. The teachers have helped her alot. The teachers are there everyday to help our kids to success. The kids are our future that's why I think Currie is the best school for that. I thank the principle, vice principle, staff, and especially the ones that make it possible, the teachers, because with out them our kids wouldn't succeed. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
