Mrs Gratsky the principle is by far the best principle I've ever seen. My kids have gone to numerous schools and Lakewood is by far my favorite. So much teacher/student interaction. The school is organized, clean and they go above and beyond definitely.

My son went to Lakewood from Kindergarten through 5th grade. He received an excellent education...he is also very self motivated...something that all parents should encourage. My daughter is in 2nd grade this year...her first 2 years at Lakewood were absolutely wonderful.

He loved all his learning activities in a work group environment, which he excelled in thinking on his own. We are so thankful for all of Mrs Currie s work, planning work activities, keeping it interesting and always being enthusiastic in her teachings. I was very pleased with the school, this was my daughters first year as a kindergartner. Her teacher, Mrs. Quinn, was an excellent teacher. She is great w/ the kids and really provides hands on work for all the kids. My daughter was student of the month and Reader of the month as well, I am also amazed
... Read more at how much she learned this year..and I give Mrs. Quinn almost all of the credit. She really paid tons of attention to all the kids and I noticed her help everyone! I think all the kids were happy w/ her and really enjoyed her class. The 05/06 K-2 class was great! I really enjoyed helping out and a lot of the parents really helped out too, I am glad my duaghter had a wonderful Kindergarten experience. I would definitely recommend Lakewood to any parent. Lakewood provides all day Kindergarten for the kids. There will be a new Kindergarten teacher. The Parent/Teacher group could always use more involvement. They have a new (this will be her 2nd or 3rd year) Principle that came from Fairwood, where she did an incredible job. There are alot of ESL students

My daughter went to kindergarten there last year. Her teacher, Mrs. Quinn was incredible. They are very strict in behavior control, sometimes I think going overboard. I was once told my daughter should have no TV for the night. I would prefer that to be a suggestion!

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
