In addition to strong academics, Santa Fe Christian provides many opportunities for students to develop moral character and leadership skills. The class sizes are small allowing the students to thrive and bond with the faculty. The parent involvement, support and participation through its (PAC) Parent Advisory Counsels is amazing. This is going to be my second year at SFC and I couldnt be happier with my desicion to attend here. The teachers truly care about the success of the students and class sizes are small allowing close relationships with the staff and a positive enviroment where students can learn and grow in their faith.
... Read more As for the extracurricular activities, the sports team are outstsanding for the size of the school and challenge athletes to do their best. Also, students have a better chance of making a team than at larger public schools. There are also many clubs that people can participate in. However, unlike some schools there are not as many unique electives that the students can explore their talents in. Read less

I have been going to Santa fe Christian for the past couple of years. Needless to say, the teachers are very caring and have great personalities. The education at SFC is great and I have learned many things. One thing to know though is that there are many cliques at SFC. I am quiet so the first few years

The school was accredited last year and has improved their accedemic standards dramatically. Both my children love the school and we could not be happier. My brother and I both attended SFC for 6 years. We both were straight A students at SFC without effort and found when we transfered to other high schools in the area that SFC is one of the easiest schools around. There is very little homework and grades are highly inflated. Many of the teachers are inexperienced
... Read more and teach whatever they want. As for the AP classes, the percentage of students who actually pass the exam is dismally low. Most people are friendly but there is defiately an eliteism among the students and both they and the parent thrive on gossip. Teachers are supportive in many aspects, however most kids arent prepared for the real world because it is so sheltered. Athletics and opportunites of involvement are good, and there are a few really strong christian families. This school caters to (below) average students, and graduates are in for a reality-check. SFC has been a blessing to our family. We have been at the school two years and while relatively new to the school we could not be more pleased. The elementary school math program implemented this year is great and has increased my child's confidence in the subject. My middle school child is being challenged

The school has sent graduates to Stanford, MIT, and Yale as well as smaller faith-based colleges and state colleges. This tells me that the school is able to meet the educational needs of the student and partner with the parents in order to allow each child to reach their full potential. Given the current economical environment, it is important that the financial sacrifices we make for our children's education are warranted and at SFC I believe they are. Read less

We pulled our children out of this school. We found that their teaching style and program is outdated and our children were not prepared for college. Many who have gone off to college complain that they were not prepared. Sports were great but the academics and the spiritual life were mediocre at best.

We left this school after many years. We were caught up in the beautiful buildings and the school spirit. Their math program is inconsistent and has left my children with gaps in their learning. Our children's SAT scores dropped from top in nation upon arriving at this school to mid to low levels. My

I wish I would have checked into the school's SAT scores earlier however I was told they didn't have them. Adminstrators kept promising things were going to get better but they didn't. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
