I am a student here at Laguna, and I looove it! Though sometimes I feel like some of the kids around me are better than me, and I feel like I might be teased. But other than that, I feel very safe, and secure here. I know that all of the teachers will help me when I need it, and I dont feel insecure.

Too much homework! They don't enforce dress code, very distracting for the boys. Some teachers are special but most are mediocre, giving lots of paper and pencil work, busy work for homework, etc.

I cannot say I felt my child to be safe at this school. This school is a horrible representation of San Luis Obispo, a great town should have a nicer school. Think of your alternatives before sending your child(ren) here. It is too bad there aren't many nearby.

My daughter has thrived at Laguna. The teachers all seem to be first-rate, the atmosphere is generally very supportive, and the curriculum is challenging but not overly demanding. She's able to have a great year and we have enough family time (she's not overwhelmed with homework). I wasn't looking

laguna middle school has been a good experience for my child. It has a open atmosphere and good kids. However by the time my daughter reached eighth grade she became very bored with the activities and oppurtunities at the school.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
