This is our 3rd and final year at this school. While the environment is safe and teachers are loving, we have recently learned the curriculum lags behind some of the better public schools in this area (and FAR behind the parochial schools, which are similarly priced and offer extra-curricular activities).

My child has been in Monterey Bay Christian School for 5 years now and I have found the experience awsome. Every teacher that has taught my child has been an excellent, qualified, well prepared, caring teacher. I highly recomend this school to anyone looking for an excellent education in a safe environement

My kids were in this school for 4 years, and we saw an incredible deterioration in the overall quality of the school during that time. Most teachers are not credentialed and the administration is severely lacking in leadership ability. Tuition has increased while extras have all but been eliminated.

I think that this is the best school in monterey. they have done such great things with him. so if you have the money just do it they learn, laugh, and your child will be very blessed in the long run. the staff is great and parents. all i have to say is if you want your child to read and write and do

... Read more Bay Christian School (MBCS) for their children. The school features K-8. K-5 is at the main campus. Grades 6-8 are across town. If you are looking for a nonsecular, nondenominational culture at an affordable price call and register now. We just went to the open house last eveing and were impressed by everyone we met. The administration at this school are complete and total hipocrites. I would warn strongly against enrolling your child/ren in this school. I found the experience to be horrible, and traumatizing for my child. They are not true Christians, and are only in it for the money. Parents BEWARE !

my littliest one has been going to this school since pre-school. i absolutely love it! great teachers, great school setting and the best is the teaching of our Lord. Chapel is every Friday and is such a fun and fullfilling experience each and every time.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
