It's up to the student and parents to participate and sadly, I don't see enough children joining the school teams because the parents are too busy to get involved. The academics are great, sometimes a little too much homework. Most importantly, they set the right foundation for the students to believe in their faith. Academics can be learned at any school but faith is something that must be introduced very early to young children. OLPH does all that and more. Read less

I am glad that I took the option to leave this school. Upper managment does not want to undersatand that academics and faith comes first than money !! sad. Even with a new Principal and fresh ideas it will fail. it will only succeed if church and school are separate entities.

This upcoming school year brings many change. We now have a fence and tighter security. We have a new principal with hopes of stronger leadership. Yes, the religious aspect is fine, but we take kids to school to learn academics. No emphasis on physical education, one hour per week, with some unexperienced leader. Spend your money on higher education not for flag salutes.

I am very happy that I finally left this school. The quality of education, safety issues & lack of leadership was unbelievable. Good luck trying to give suggestions to make positive changes. My children are learning more about their Faith at CCD at a different parish then they did at OLPH. Sad.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
