This is an amazing school. I'm not quite sure where the previous entries got their statistics but we are certainly increasing in our API over the last 2 years. There have been wonderful programs put into place and the parents and commnity are very supportive of the school. I am thrilled that my students

Twin Creeks is not the great school it once was. It seems that the school is lacking essential leadership and this is apparent by the declining test scores and departure of many staff and strong teachers. The school looks good on paper but there is a lack of implementation of programs, follow through

I am not as happy with Twin Creeks as I have been in the past. The principal is driving the school into the ground! Experienced teachers are leaving each year probably to get away from the direction a formerly wonderful school is going and new teachers that are ill-equipped to work in a high standards

I don't understand why the district isn't looking more closely at a school whose test scores have dropped every year since the new leadership came into position. For the good news, there is at least one experienced teacher at each grade level and they are wonderful. My children have been in these classes because if you volunteer enough and are good to your teacher, you can usually get a good placement the following year if you don't make the principal mad. It is a strange place to be. Read less

We have two children attending Twin Creeks, and we love the sense of community and strong parental involvement. Academically, our school seems lacking due to the continual departure of strong teachers, lack of direction and leadership from the principal, and influx of transfer students from outside
... Read more of San Ramon. The academic standards held for Twin Creeks teachers seem lax compared to the expectations of other elementary schools in this area. From my observations, we seem to have one strong teacher at each grade level, while the principal doesn t take action to weed out the other teachers that are not motivated to provide our children a solid education. Our experience with the quality of teaching has been very uneven. We find the principal unorganized and ill-equipped to handle the school. She is going into her 5th year at Twin Creeks. We have not noticed any improvement in her leadership abilities, or the school s academic curriculum, during this time. The school has dropped significantly in test scores since she has come aboard as principal, and has consistently been one of the lowest ranked schools (API scores) within San Ramon Valley Unified School District. This is disheartening to us as parents who moved into this neighborhood, because Twin Creeks used to be a highly regarded National Blue Ribbon School and Distinguished School during the tenure of the previous principal. The families at Twin Creeks are amazing, however, and that is why we are still at this school. We are reassessing because we are afraid our children won t be prepared for Middle School, when they merge with the other elementary schools. Read less

My son is in third grade, and LOVES attending this school. We have found both his teacher and all the rest of the staff to be nothing but friendly and supportive. Our child was enrolled in kindergarten at Twin Creeks this year. We had mixed feelings about the school. There will be a new principal next year, so maybe things will be different. There wasn't as much parent participation in our classroom as we had hoped for. It seemed like the same five families
