Teachers are good and passionate about what they do. But the school needs to work on their behavior mnagement/and their discipline procedures. The middle school demographic really tends to be out of control as the unruly majoirty are allowed to dominate over the more scholastically inclined minoirty.

Venetia valley is the only school that has kinder to 8 grade on the county so is very hard to compare wit any other school and if you open to friendly techers this ios the best teachers on the county.

My child started kindergarten this year in the dual language program. Her teacher is wonderful and caring and the the parents I've met are wonderful and eager to help in the class. In addition, I find the administration very approachable and engaged. I think great things are happening at Venetia Valley.

... Read more honors this diversity. The school principle and vice principle are skilled, involved and intelligent. Aesthetic improvements were long overdue and are now nearly complete. The PTA is dedicated and funds most music, art, sport and extracurricular activities. I like to think that Gallinas is a gentle, hands-on, real-world educational institution in the midst of a sea of unrealistically affluent institutions which lack a true appreciation for diversity which has become so important to the future of the world. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
