I have a son at Odyssey and I can't emphasize enough what a wonderful staff & head of school they have. The new math teacher (this is her 2nd year) is fantastic, but so are all the rest of the teachers. You just couldn't ask for a more supportive and caring staff. They really care about the students

Odyssey is a terrific little gem of a school in the Crystal Springs area of San Mateo. Highlights include: * 10 day trip at the start of each year with all the students and teachers. Our son is a first year student (sixth grade) at Odyssey. The school has exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The process of finding a perfect middle school for your child is so overwhelming. Our son loved Odyssey from the first day he shadowed there. he had already shadowed at several top schools

The Head of Odyssey School literally saved my son. Thank goodness someone in schools is willing to set high standards of behavior and conduct to kids, especially boys in the era of 'Me Only' parents. These parents who complain the Head doesn't listen don't understand the difference between listening

Families either love or dislike Odyssey with little inbetween. The educational programs are good to great, although dealing with the adminstration is a one way street. For the highly motivated, organized child it can be a good fit, but for kids with need motivating, Odyssey's approach comes off as punitive

I have had three children, two are sons, go through the Odyssey program and I could not have a higher recommendation for the school, especially for boys. The program is challenging no doubt, and no school program is for everyone, but Odyssey has done an amazing job preparing my children for high school,

I have nothing but good things to say about Odyssey. I have had two boys and one girl go through all 3 years and of course each one of my children is different from one another. They each have strengths and weeknesses and Odyssey has reached each one of them in exactly the way that they learn best.
