I love piedmont!!! all my friends are there, there are lots of extracurricular activities, the teachers are good, and most of the students have discipline so i can learn well in class.

For the most part it has always been a very good school. The one thing that has changed through the years is it was a lot more diverse previously. My son attends this school but as a half Latin half African American male this school does not offer the chance to interact with a variety of cultures. Therefore

Honestly, For my self this school is not all bad. I've had family members go that went to this school and they graduated. also my self i went to PHHS. my first year there the kept me comfortable and i just go used to the campus plenty of people were probably rude and abnoxious people of course fights
... Read more accured but the advistors and teachers stoped it and the rules were pretty great rules are pretty strict. My childern are attending this school now and its still wonderful like it was back then when i was in Piedmont. I would highly recommend that you should put your students in this high school it sure got me where i want to be. Read less

Great school but not diverse at all. Likely 80% Vietnamese. Nothing against Asians but when I attended Piedmont it was a variety of ethnicities and I think children learn about diversity by being school with minorities, not one minority but many. I would feel the same way if the school was 80% of any

Piedmont strikes again with its revised dress policy. seems way too extreme and leading toward uniforms. This is a poorly thought out policy. We need a change already and this is the fourth principal in four years, something wrong.

Communication between the school and parents is not so great. Advisors/Counselors don't seem to want to talk to parents and give the message that they are too busy. (I give the 504 counselor high marks! She's very responsive and helpful!) Teachers can now use School Loop which is a wonderful program
... Read more where they can post homework assignments and grades. Most teachers are using it now and it is getting better each year. In 3 years we have had 3 principals. I guess that's a ESUHSD issue. Other schools in this district have the same problem. All in all, I feel my children are safe and getting a decent education. Read less

My child went to yhis school and it is outstanding. This school is better than all the schools in natomas unionfied school district. It is way better than inderkum highschool. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
