Great principal and overall very good teachers. Parents volunteer a lot which makes it easy for the teachers to focus on teaching. My kids really enjoyed going here and I would recommend this school. They also have an outdoor science area to learn about nature and the core subjects are good.

My son recently was promoted from this school. We had an amazing experience here. Major parent participation. The best principal by far (Melissa Mohamed) . The kids love her! The kids also love the Science teacher, Mr. Keedy. This school also has a unique outdoor classroom that kids enjoy. Make sure ...  Read more

He was often accused of not trying hard enough and the school should have escalated the situation more with the district to get him what he needed. The situation was eventually unsafe. ...  Read more

Hacienda has a great science program and some good teachers. However, the students are not very accepting to those who look a little bit different (not due to race) from other children and the school doesn't effectively stop the bullying. It could really benefit from from teaching students how to treat ...  Read more

Recycling, gardening, and preserving a healthy environment are important learning activities at Hacienda. Over the past five years, there were times where we questioned whether the teacher was correcting the homework and also that some of homework assignments were just too repetitive, so it hasn't been ...  Read more

I am the parent that posted a comment a few days back regarding my son being held back in kindergarten due to his teacher giving up on him. Its sad to see someone comment that my husband and I failed to give my son the correct attention to help him complete his school work. My husband and I have always ...  Read more

I'm very sorry to hear that your experience here at Hacienda was so bad. My child is in the 5th grade and he has ADHD. It's a huge daily struggle that unless you have walked a mile in that parent's shoes most people can't realize. I understand your frustration. My child was so disruptive in kindergarten, ...  Read more
