My teen will be a Sr next yr. Also an elementary child in this school. Academically the HS falls extremely short. Only a couple of teachers I would rate well at parent/teacher rapport & helpful with suggestions to assist your teen for college. Christian values only count when they want to make a point.
... Read more The rest of the teachers are substandard. Academically the HS students are not challenged to do reports enough to excell in writing for SATs. Their vocabulary & ability to articulate on world events or about social justice is so illiterate I am embarrased to say that I pay as much as I do to send my teen to a private school. Their literary exposure is too limited. If my teen wasn't a Sr I'd send somewhere else. My younger child will go elsewhere. Read less

As a elementary school its ok. Some teacher will above and beyond, while other are quick to discipline. As a high school and middle school I personally suggest that you look at other schools. The school itself does not have many upper level(honor) classes. They are not registered under any csu in California

Our Seven children SFCS/ six went on to graduate from college. All played in the athletic program (volleyball, soccer, basket ball. soft ball and baseball) Choir is available, instrumental training and quality education. The teachers get involved in the lives of the students. Mission trips, college

A great computer lab, science lab is in the works. Graduates are in many fields of expertice such as lawyers, teachers, medical, engineering, banking, missions, pastors, plumbing and much more. this school is great for elementary through middle school but not for high school. The classes taken at this high school do not count toward state schools such as san francisco state university or UC Berkely. they have not been accrediteded with these systems since 1998. San Francisco Christian School seems to provide a safety net for the student and a community like enrivornment and a very excellent christian foundation. Perhaps more academics, better qualify teachers and more options. The staff seems okay to work with. However, the school secretary seemed the most approachable at all times. The tuition mades it difficult to many parents to afford to enroll and/or keep their children in San Francisco Christian School. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
