This my first year enrolling my a child to public school. I do not like that all the kindergarten classes have more then the state allowed 24 students per class and it is not going to change. This school does not have teachers aids. They do not have enough yard supervision. The office staff is rude. ...  Read more

My kids love it at Gridley, but as a parent its okay. The administration is horrible. No communication at all. The principle isn't doing a good job. I keep my kids there because they are doing really good in their academics. And all the kids know the staff.

The website and links for this school are NOT user friendly! The office staff is unorganized and unfriendly! I work for an elementary school in Utah, and I have been trying to get records for students that transferred to our school from them for two months. Each time I call they tell me they will ...  Read more

Gridley Elementary is a great elementary. It is a small school where kids can really get to know each other and their teachers. My son attended this school and has many great this to say about this, especially his 4th grade teacher Mr. Sanchez.

The office staff is so rude. They gave me such a hard time when I went to enroll my child. They really don't care that they are hurting our kids' future.

I loved this school when I went there! Maybe it's because as a child you don't really care about the staff in the main office even though they are really rude to parents! The teachers I had we're amazing and the vice-principal that was there was always there with is. None of us knew he wasn't our principal ...  Read more

I have tried giving this school a chance but since day one i have been very unhappy with the Principal and teachers ( I am not talking about all). The staff is rude, they yell at your kids. My daugther comes home upset and crying because the teacher never gives her a chance and rewards others students. ...  Read more

I'm still having a difficult time with this school. I have spoken with the principal and Vice Principal of there loitering ice cream push carts who sell directly to the kids through the fence! Staff as well as some Teachers have witness this and turn the other cheek. It is a real shame. The Principal ...  Read more

I was very disapointed in what this school had to offer. My daughter started Kindergarten this year after from being in Pre-school for 3 years she was more than ready! Passing the assessment test with a great score and getting 3's in all her report card her teacher said was one of the smart ones from ...  Read more

I am going to give this Elementary School a chance. We are going to move to Sylmar in 2 weeks and I am hoping since this is our "home" school and by me being a very involved-volunteer parent I will really observe the teachings and practice and beahvior of the teachers/staff and give them the benefit ...  Read more
