Too large of classes for any child to get individual needs met. Needs parent help at any level. Good religious influence, beautiful campus, nice families.

We have two children at Nazareth School. Overall, I think I'd rank this as an across-the-board adequate school. Academics seem to be about average, and they do focus hard on getting kids reading, writing, and gaining age-appropriate skills in math. The Catholic education is quite good, and the music

On the downside, as you might find in any comparably-sized non-public school, there isn't much support for gifted kids. Because the class sizes are unfortunately quite large, there's not much the teachers (who honestly do try!) can do for those kids who are already beyond the material being presented. Another recent problem has been some turnover in faculty and administration. But overall, I think that this is an adequate school for most kids and there is a strong sense of community. Read less

Very disappointed with [first child's] curriculum and teacher. Class-size is too large and the teacher always seemed flustered even with two full-time helpers and parental participation. [Second child's] teacher is strict, which is good, but is not a nurturing person and at that tender age, there should

The principal is not up to par as an administrator and has very poor leadership skills, but the religious aspect is wonderful. Nazareth is academically sound but it could be much better for the cost. The front office staff leaves much to be desired as they are not very polite to the parents and impatient with the children. It's amazing that some of the staff have been employed by the school/diocese for so long without this being addressed. Parent involvement is stellar! Read less

This is a great option when considering where to send your child for preschool. It is actually cheaper to send your child to this wonderful private school than to a preschool and you get the benefit of a religious education as well. It is money well spent.
