Montgomery is the worst school ever. The teachers provide deadlines but do not abide by them. Some teachers will accept students assisgnments with littlle to no regards of accuracy. The students come home with little or no homwork. Mongomery is not preparing the 8th graders for high school. I made

As a visiting teacher with the district, I have worked at montgomery a few times and have found the students very disrespectful of authority and extremely defiant. My experience at montgomery was the worst I've encountered. Montgomery is a school that I would not recommend to prospective parents/students

Having recently moved to CA, enrolled my child (8th grade) into Montgomery, I can honestly say I am not at all impressed. Homework at best is minimal to none. The staff does what little it can short of kicking out everyone who does cause problems. Most of the trouble makers are repeat offenders. My wife and I are currently trying to find alternative forms of education, so we can take our boys out of this school. There are some really good teachers here,

I am extremely impressed by the reality that pervades around this school. With its new Principal many things seem to have changed for the better. This school year a new discipline code is implemented, students are expected to carry their own planners, there are numerous electives offered (Band, Engineering,

Level of parent involvement at this school is small. At the last parent teacher conference the buildings were like a ghost city. ... Read more cleaned up in recent years. With some of the teachers I find it almost impossible to find out what exactly is expected of the student at home. Some of the classes give no homework which worries me. If you do send a child there I urge you to see a counselor and try to steer your child into the AVID program where they can get some of the better teachers and a more challenged work load. Read less

Both my childeren went here but both were pulled out. If you wan't your child to learn nothing, have no acountability, and be in danger of gang fights the school won't tell you about even if you ask. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
