I had to move to San Diego due to my dad being in the military. When we moved here, I went to Montgomery which was my neighborhood school. It has to be the WORST school I have ever been to. The teachers assign homework to you, but never collects it. It seemed like they just gave me an A for doing nothing. ...  Read more

This school is a testament to what dedication, commitment & hard work are all about. Being a part of the staff here for 3 years now I have had the privilege of witnessing a change among the Montgomery Community of Learners as well as the Linda Vista neighborhood. This can be largely attested to the compassion, ...  Read more

The staff, ...  Read more

The thing that does concern me is that we live a mile away and there is no bus transportation, and no crossing guards at the school. The San ...  Read more

Montgomery is the worst school ever. The teachers provide deadlines but do not abide by them. Some teachers will accept students assisgnments with littlle to no regards of accuracy. The students come home with little or no homwork. Mongomery is not preparing the 8th graders for high school. I made ...  Read more

As a visiting teacher with the district, I have worked at montgomery a few times and have found the students very disrespectful of authority and extremely defiant. My experience at montgomery was the worst I've encountered. Montgomery is a school that I would not recommend to prospective parents/students ...  Read more

Montgomery Middle School
San Diego Unified School District
California
* In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled.
