My son and I love Farb. When my son came back to san diego from florida his grades were less that satisfactory. He was put into avid and now he is an 'a' student and a padres'scholar. The avid program is a god send for the kids at this school but it takes the parent to be involved also, the teachers

I do not have any problems with the school-I do recommend it to others.My son refuses to miss a day of school and I love it.My son (a 7th grader) gets to represent Farb at different events. My son is bussed to Farb from the normal heights area where we live. My 7th grade son started in the fall of 2005, and at first had some trouble with most all of his classes. As the year has progressed he has gotten much better and the teachers seem to have more concern with his learning. I have been kind of disappointed with the fact that classes run almost 2 hours long

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
